2022 Viognier, Marcella Vineyard - This crystal clear wine has a pale straw yellow hue. On the nose you’ll find pear, lemon curd, honeysuckle, spring rain and elderflower. The palate is fresh and silky with balanced acidity and flavors of guava, fresh apricot and nectarine. Pair with spicy foods, fresh herbs and seafood. Stainless steel fermented, aged. 250 cases produced. $25 retail, club $20.
This is year two of our white Rhône blend. For 2022 we expanded both the grape varietals and aging vessels. Viognier (Olsen Vineyard - 37% - aged in both stainless steel and French oak puncheon), Grenache Blanc (Boushey Vineyard - 22% - aged in concrete), Marsanne (Boushey - 21% - aged in both concrete and French oak puncheon) and Roussanne (Olsen - 20% - aged in concrete).
Straw yellow in color, with aromas of lemon curd, bosc pear and honeysuckle. Notes of baking spice, biscuit and crushed stone, with a creamy but light texture.
Pairing suggestions: Paella (of course), crab cakes, beurre blanc sauce, roasted chicken, light to medium acidic, savory foods and a variety of soft and hard cheeses like goat cheese, herbed Boursin, smoked Gouda, manchego and triple cream.
2022 Rosé of Cinsault, Marcella Vineyard. Certified Sustainable.
This hue of this wine is perfectly described as ballerina pink. The nose is classic Cinsault rosé: strawberry shortcake, fresh melon and rose petals. The palate starts out bright and inviting, with a structured mid-palate and soft, smooth finish. Pair with spring picnics and summertime cookouts. Stainless steel fermented, aged. 257 cases produced.
Vibrant purple hue. On the nose you'll find ripe strawberry, bright cranberry, cigar box and wet stone. This red blend finishes with soft, powdery tannins.
This wine has a ruby red hue and aromas of rainier cherry, sweet leather, salted caramel, red licorice and dried Italian herbs. The palate is smooth like velour, with ever-present tannins and a savory finish of black tea, olive, cassis and cigar box. 100 percent neutral French oak. Only 92 cases produced.
Deep ruby, with a purple hue. Aromas of rich pomegranate, black cherry, late-season huckleberry, molasses, red pepper flakes, cocoa nib, cedar, sweet tobacco and bay leaf. Generous and smooth tannins, balanced by a lively finish. We call this bright and sassy!
2019 Destined Cabernet Sauvignon Cuvee, Red Willow, DuBrul and Heart of the Hill Vineyards - Part of our vineyard designate collection, this wine is deep ruby in color with garnet undertones. On the nose you’ll find enticing aromas of blackberry bramble, candied strawberry, tomato leaf, cassis and dried herbs combined with notes of chocolate-covered cherry and asian spice. The palate is bright and juicy with plentiful, spicy tannins and flavors of sweet dark tobacco, sandalwood and orange peel.
