You must be 21 years of age or older, to order or receive alcoholic beverages from Fortuity Cellars. By placing your order you certify under penalty of perjury that you and the recipient are at least 21 years old. Receipt of shipments containing alcoholic beverages requires the signature of a sober adult (a person 21 years of age or older who is not intoxicated). The willful misrepresentation of your age or the age of the recipient is a crime in most states. Wines purchased from Fortuity Cellars are not for resale and are for personal consumption only.
Credit Card Charges
Orders are by credit card only. We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover.
Wine Club Agreement
Wine club members must be 21 years of age or older. We kindly ask for a one-year commitment (minimum of two seasonal wine club selections, after your initial purchase). Credit card on file will be run twice a year for regular wine club shipments and any other purchases approved by the member. Club membership cancellations must be by email or in writing by the account holder and received within 14 days of the next club selection. If club wines are not picked up within six months, wines are shipped directly to the member at the member’s expense. If the shipping address is not valid (or returned to us) and it has been more than six months, we will donate the wines to a Yakima Valley non-profit. For pick-up shipments held at the winery for more than 60 days, bottle selection not guaranteed. Wines that are shipped require a signature of a person who is 21 years of age or older. We strongly recommend that you ship to a business address. Wine shipments may not be left on a door step. We are not held responsible for misdirected or returned shipments. Members are responsible for keeping their online account updated with any changes to credit cards, billing and shipping addresses, email and phone number. We reserve the right to hold shipments due to extreme weather. Terms and conditions are subject to change.
Minimum Purchase for Shipping
Three bottle minimum purchase is highly encouraged for shipments at this time.
States Authorized for Direct Shipment
Due to the ever-changing nature of wine shipping laws, we may not be able to ship wines, directly or indirectly, to you. If Fortuity Cellars is unable to ship directly to your state, we can arrange for the sale and shipment of our products through a third party. Please note, when dealing through a third party, wine prices, discounts, and shipping costs may differ from those quoted by Fortuity Cellars.
Current states we or our third-party shipper ship to: Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Connecticut, DC, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Iowa, Idaho, Illinois, Kansas, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, New Mexico, Nevada, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, Washington, Wisconsin, and Wyoming.
Federal Express Ground (WA, ID, OR, DC, MN and FL) is Fortuity Cellars carriers of choice (common carrier). Ground shipping is provided by Federal Express Ground at current market rates. *Note – If the customer selects Fed Ex Air as his or her carrier, the customer pays all shipping charges, regardless of his or her wine club membership or purchase amount. Our third party shipper may use Federal Express Ground or UPS.
Wine is a Delicate Commodity
Wine is a perishable commodity. Wine does not like extremes of temperature: hot humid summer and cold winter weather may adversely affect the condition of your wine during shipment. Fortuity Cellars is not responsible for, and will not replace wine that is damaged by extreme weather conditions during shipment. When your wine order is picked up by the common carrier for delivery, responsibility for the wine becomes the responsibility of the purchaser.
