The inky black color sets the scene for this wine’s aromas: blackberry, black cherry, black currant, warm cedar and toffee. Softer floral notes liven up the dark nature of this wine, making for an addictive and persistent bouquet. The palate is unctuous with velvety tannins.

On the nose you’ll find enticing aromas of blackberry bramble, candied strawberry, tomato leaf, cassis and dried herbs combined with notes of chocolate-covered cherry and asian spice. The palate is bright and juicy with plentiful, spicy tannins and flavors of sweet dark tobacco, sandalwood and orange peel.
