Shipping

Fortuity Cellars complies with all state laws.  Minors are forbidden to receive or ship wine. You must be 21 years of age to order and an adult signature is required upon delivery.  We suggest shipping to a business address if possible. By placing your order, you certify under penalty of perjury that you and the recipient are at least 21 years old.

If your state has limits and/or requires a specific sales/use tax for your order. Please call the winery at 509-779-6000 with any questions in regard to your order.

Weather Dependent Shipping Policy

  • Wine is a perishable commodity. Extreme temperatures may adversely affect the integrity of wine.  During hot and cold weather, ground orders will be placed on a weather hold and shipped when feasible.

  • Fortuity Cellars is not responsible for any degradation or alteration of the wine that may occur in transit due to extreme weather conditions.

  • Shipping via ground is at the consumer’s own risk.

  • We may hold shipments for a period of time if we believe the temperatures are too extreme.

Standard Ground Shipping

The standard shipping option for all orders is ground delivery.  Orders shipped ground will typically arrive 5 – 7 business days after the order leaves the warehouse.

Multiple Delivery Attempts

If no one is available to receive and sign for the package, a subsequent attempt to deliver may be made. Wine orders require an adult signature, so whenever possible, we strongly encourage you to use a commercial business address to ensure the fastest delivery time.

Returns

Refund Policy

Items purchased on this website, including wine, are non-refundable.

If you believe your wine is flawed, we reserve the right to use our discretion in exchanging the product.

We ask the purchaser to contact us within 14 days of opening and return the unfinished portion of the original bottle for possible replacement.

By law, we cannot accept returns of alcoholic beverages unless the product is corked or flawed. We are also unable to accept return of wine that was damaged due to adverse weather conditions during shipment, or wine that is ordered in error. Please send an email to info@fortuitycellars.com to arrange for the return of corked or flawed product.

Once the wine is received we will refund your credit card account for the cost of the wine less shipping and handling. Please contact the tasting room at 509-779-6000 or email info@fortuitycellars.com for return instructions.

Refund policy guidelines:

  • Refund is not applicable after 30 days of the date of your purchase.

  • Refund amount is equal to the full amount paid (minus shipping cost).

  • Refund may be denied in abuse cases, with abnormally high numbers of returns.

Fortuity Cellars reserves the right to refuse refunds due to refund policy abuse.
