Fortuity Gives - Our Philanthropic Program

Giving back to our community is a Fortuity Cellars core value. In fact, it’s part of the reason we wanted to start our own business – to support those who help make our communities better.

We are passionate about organization’s with missions who support farmers and growers, champion small business and promote the arts - particularly those located in the Yakima Valley, Central Washington and across the state of Washington.

Our Back to Yak Program

Every month we give our guests the opportunity to "Take the Winery Home" while "Giving Back to Yak". By purchasing 5+ bottles, they receive 5% off and we donate $10 to a local nonprofit. People may also participate online by using the code BACKTOYAK at checkout; just select 5+ bottles to purchase and you'll receive 5% off your purchase and we'll donate $10 to that quarter’s nonprofit recipient. 

Non-Profit Requests

We are happy to support Washington-based nonprofits, or those nonprofits supported by our wine club members. This comes in the support of personal contributions by owners Emily & Lee Fergestrom, discounted wine (in conjunction with a special occasion license), discounted venue rentals at our winery, auction donations (tasting experiences), or as a Back to Yak quarterly recipient. At this time, our business does not sponsor events. 

Priority is given to requests submitted by our Chance Moments Wine Club members.
