2017 Le Classique (Library Wine)
Le Classique first year was 2017 and it was named by one of our wine club members, Malia.
This deep ruby red wine jumps out of the glass with pronounced aromas of rainier cherry, cassis, black raspberry and fresh tobacco, and an ever so slight hint of clove or cardamom. This classic Bordeaux blend is full bodied with the perfect balance of mouthwatering acid. Hand-selected one new French oad barrel each of Merlot (Copeland), Malbec (Verhey Farms) and Cabernet Sauvignon (Heart of the Hill). Club members are getting the last of this vintage before the remaining bottles got into our cellar’s library.
Drinking beautifully now and will cellar for 7-10 years. Pair with braised short ribs, tiramisu and a comfy blanket in front of fire.
