We are looking forward to our first Fridays at Fortuity with you! We have to a fun hour planned:
"What's Lexi Drinking?" - Winemaker Lexi Sells will take you through the Fortuity wine portfolio, sharing what she's seeing in bottle and barrel and what she's looking forward to for the 2020 harvest. On occasion, we'll invite some of our grower and winemaker friends to join the segment.
This week is all about rosé. Patrick Rawn, owner and vineyard manager of Marcela Vineyards located in the Rattlesnake Hills portion of the Yakima Valley, we chat with us about growing Cinsault, the varietal we use for our rosé. Marcela is part of the Two Mountain vineyard portfolio. If you'd like to purchase wine to taste along with us, we'll feature bundles and shippable packs each week.
Talking Shop: Food & Wine - From the very beginning, Lee and Emily wanted to produce wine that would compliment dinner with friends! In this segment, we'll invite a chef to come chat about food and wine pairings.
This week we just confirmed that Chef Bonnie Rae (rock-star chef, sommelier and small business owner) will join us and share some awesome food pairing ideas for rosé.
